When Danny first went out for the team, he was a bit of a runt. Not only was he on the shorter side at 5’4", but he was pretty scrawny and uncoordinated. But that didn’t stop him from trying his best to grow and improve.
After months of working out, training, and getting more and more comfortable with the coaches, Danny had shot up from being a glorified bench warmer to being a rising star. He still had some ways to go before making varsity, but Coach Charger could see his potential.
