But lo and behold: life is returning to the old man. For Amalia, however, the suffering begins: she is accused of using magic drugs and she is taken to the witch tower. There she wants to prove her innocence and faces the tests of the witch hunters. These, however, hardly leave a single chicane unturned. The witch has to show perseverance and humility, and to the most severe test she is braided, tied and whipped with roses from her garden!
