I’ve waited, somewhat patiently, for what seems like forever, for an opportunity to oversee one of the key ceremonies in Apprentice Roux’s education. He’s definitely one of our finest students; intelligent, impeccably well-turned-out, and as cute as a button. I was present at his atonement, which was something of a messy affair, led by Master Snow, who very nearly lost control of the proceedings on account of battling a very complicated dynamic with Master Barrett. It could have been catastrophic, but Snow fought valiantly and ended up taking the whole thing to a beautiful and elevated place. He’s an impressive master and I enjoyed observing him at work. I was therefore super excited to learn that he’d be assisting me this time.
