Baroness Alruna is watched intimately grooming herself in her own room by a zealous monk, her advisor Damianus. The precious oils and ointments of the nobles, however, are considered forbidden witchcraft drugs, and so the alleged friend tries to coerce certain compensation from his pregnant mistress for his silence about these facts. However, Alruna does not respond and dismisses Damianus from his service. This denounces Alruna to the witch hunters of the Inquisition. They are soon taken to the dungeon, where the servants want to humiliate them and make them docile. But the supposedly weak and spoiled noblewoman is not easy to control.
