I’ve never been very close to my dad. Not because of any fault of his or anything. We just didn’t really have much to say to one another. Even when I got my first couple tattoos, something I know he is quite fond of, we barely spoke about it.
I think he doesn’t want to seem like he’s hovering over me or anything. But I always wished we were closer. And it’s a little strange, I know, but ever since he caught me in my room, things have been better.
