Austin Merrick is one of my favourite surf friends. Austin and I were at Black’s Beach a few weeks ago when Austin mentioned to me that Lance Alexander was a great friend. He had hoped they would go out later that night, but Lance had to fly home. When Lance returned to town, I called Austin and informed him that we were going to be staying at a friend’s place in Palm Springs. Would he like join us?
