Rex has been hanging on his cross of agony for five full hours – and he has five to go. He is almost delirious. He doesn’t think he can make it. “Please let me down,” he begs when Jared appears, but the man is not there to comfort him; he is there to add to his torment. “No, please, no,” Rex mutters when Jared produces a nasty spring-loaded clamp and moves it towards his groin. “He’s going to clamp my penis!” Rex screams in his head.
