The device that connects all of the action in "Be a Man" is dialogue that connects one scene to the other. It’s a pretty ingenious way of linking four disparate scenes, including a customs office, a military latrine, a construction site, and a locker room together. As the title suggests, the line "Be a man!" is the universal exhortation used in all four.
In the opening scene, there is yet another clever play on language. Lanky hunk Claudio Martin plays a customs officer who is holding German stud Jason Hawke. Jason tries to communicate with him in German, but Claudio doesn’t speak the language. Jason murmurs to himself, this time in English, "I’d like a piece of that — I’d show him how to be a man." Well, surprise, Claudio does speak English, if not German, and he understands every word of Jason’s promise. Claudio stands and unleashes his dick on Jason, who is seemingly by it’s impressive size.
