Eternally single, Clara (Clara Mia) doesn’t really believe in love and regularly takes part in speed-dating events organized near her home. She never has too many illusions about her chances of meeting the perfect man there, but she’s not in a hurry and, who knows, between the shy guy and the one who’s a little too pushy, she might eventually come across the right one. Just as she is about to leave one of these evenings, she crosses paths with Marco (Marco Bull), a tall, dark, and mysterious man who seems to tick all the boxes. Without really knowing how or why, Clara and Marco don’t bother to get to know each other and spend the first night together… and the following ones too. Their happiness ultimately lasted six months before Clara realized that the man she thought was the perfect partner was seeing other women behind her back.
After a heated breakup and another period of singlehood, Clara accepts an invitation to dinner from her best friend Dolly. There, she meets Alice, Dolly’s sister, and her boyfriend Lawrence, a man she had already come across during her many speed-dating nights. How could Alice have fallen in love with him? The chemistry between the two women is undeniable and, one thing leading to another, they very quickly get down to business in the bathroom while dinner is still going on. Still shaken by this experience, they nevertheless return to the table. Luckily for them, Dolly and Lawrence didn’t notice a thing.
One-Night Encounters
A few days later, Clara runs into Luke (Luke Hardy) at the restaurant where Dolly used to work. Luke is a businessman who travels a lot and knows how to enjoy the rewards of his efforts. Unlike the other men she has met, Luke seems genuinely interested in her, and she likes that. So when he invites her to join him in his hotel room, Clara is hesitant at first but eventually accepts. He may not be the man of her life, and she doesn’t even know if she’ll ever see him again, but at least she will have had a wonderful time with him.
Single once again, Clara now has more time to devote to her friend Dolly, who is almost desperate to find her the perfect man. One evening, while they are having a drink at the local pub, Clara meets Sam (Sam Bourne) and Jade (Jade Jadore), a pretty blonde who doesn’t leave her indifferent and invites her to her table after spilling her drink on her. The trio ends up spending the night together, which Clara doesn’t mind at all since she has always loved meeting new people and trying new experiences. Despite all these new encounters, Clara takes up her old habit of going to speed-dating events, until she stumbles upon Marco again, who asks her to give him a second chance…
