January Seraph was a popular bondage model from Los Angeles whose career spanned 10-15 years, as I recall. We met her and her boyfriend around 2008 and shot a few videos in their apartment. As January’s popularity grew, she moved into the private dominatrix business while continuing to produce videos. I believe she even had her own website at one point.
We lost track of January, and when we finally reconnected she had moved to San Francisco. I’m not sure why she moved, but it was nice to have her a little closer. She had leased the entire floor of a building on Mission street and had a large studio and playroom. We shot a few videos in her studio with Mistress Miranda from the UK, and although we discussed shooting with January, for some reason it never happened. Then, in 2017, we received word that January had died of suicide. What a loss for us all.
The video in this update was shot at the SeriousBondage Institute around 2009 by January’s boyfriend ‘Smutty’. January and her friend crawl across the floor while Gwen Chemindefer from Rubber Dynasty directs the race with her crop. We were all friends and shot videos at each other’s houses. The quality of this video isn’t all that great, but it’s fun to see January as a submissive before she went to the domme side.
